Concept map

     A concept map is a visual diagram of a topic that can help you organize and process information. When building a concept map, we working with the flow of thought, and a diagram allows you to move off into tangents group and sort ideas. It refers to a visual organizer that can enrich students understanding of a new concept. It is similar to brainstorming and mind mapping, since it challenges students to articulate the essential concepts or ideas. 

     Concept mapping is brainstorming with a purpose. You start with an overarching concept that you breakdown into its smaller parts,using arrows and linking words to show how ideas connected. 

                     HARMONY OF LIFE 

    The holistic concept of wellness is basic theme of the unit. This unit aims at inculcating the right values through few examples. It consists of a story " Gooseberries" by Anton Chekhov reflects on the brief in following one's dream. The poem " To Sleep" by William Wordsworth stresses the importance of good sleep. The essay " Going out for a walk" challenges notion that walking is a productive mental exercise especially if one is with a talkative companion. 


                        The lighter side

     This unit contains one act pay, poem and short story. Humor is the main theme of the unit. The play " post early for christmas" depicts humorous incident takes place inside a village post office. The poem " This is going to hurt just a little bit" highlight only humour sense. Story " Crime and punishment" highlight the truth that over caring and over parenting spoil the child.
