       Stress can be defined as a state of worry or mental tension, caused by difficult situation. Stress is a natural human response that prompt us to address challenge and threats in our lives. 

      Stress management meaning is to reduce the negative impact caused by stress and to improve persons physical and mental well being. Stress management may include self care , managing one's response to stress and making changes to one's life. 

                   PLANNING PHASE 

     As per B.Ed curriculum, it is necessary to conduct a workshop on any of the student relevant topics during the first phase of teaching practice. For this same purpose the topic assigned to our team was ' Stress Management '. The workshop was planned to be conducted on 6/12/23 for student of class 8, after the discussion with school authorities. The brainstorming session was conducted for purpose of data collection on the topic.

        Sudheesh V G was assigned to present a welcome speech before the audience. The first session for introducing the basic facts of stress was assigned to Saranya. The second session was assigned to Abhila on the topic causes or reason. The third session was assigned to Abhidev. That is effects of stress. The fourth topic ' Stress Management ' was assigned to Sudheesh. 

                EXECUTION PHASE

     As per B.Ed curriculum, a workshop on the topic Stress Management was conducted on 6/12/23 at Govt Model HSS Venganoor. The program was conducted as workshop lead by the teacher trainees Abhila SR, Saranya S Nair, Sudheesh VG and Abhidev RR. The program was started with the welcome speech by teacher trainee Sudheesh and followed by the lecture by the resource persons. The program was conducted at sharp 11.45 am. 

     The workshop started with an introduction about stress and stress management by Saranya S Nair. She also introduced other student teacher also. Next session was handled by Abhila, teacher trainee at BNVCTE. She talked about causes or reasons for stress. Third session was introduced by Abhidev RR. He talked about effect of stress and it's effects. And the final session was presented the major topic of our program. Finally the whole program ended with vote of thanks.
