Erratic wisdom

         The day started with the morning assembly.  In the assembly, HM informed that there will be an awareness drama  by Kollam City Police  at 10.m. The assembly was dispersed very soon after the warm-up exercises. In the second period, I went to 8.B  and started a new Chapter. It was a short story, The Nightingale and the Rose written by Oscar Wilde. I used powerpoint presentation as a teaching aid. It was effective and  it helped  students to understand the theme of the story more easily. Then in the fourth period,  we the teacher trainees went to class 8 B to take a class about health education. Students are attentive and we took the class about health and it's importance in everyday life. Then we provide some activities to them. They are attentive and attend the class more actively. 

        Today (27/06/24) I incorporated technology into my lesson to enhance students engagement. Because it was an ICT Lesson plan. I used interactive presentations and videos to create interactive and dynamic learning experience. The students were excited about the change of pace and readily explore the digital resources. Today I started new lesson Taj Mahal. Firstly I introduced a song from movie " Jeans". I showed seven wonders of the world. They are very interested. I learned the importance of thorough preparation and having back up plans to ensure smooth integration of technology into the classroom.

      A concept map is a visual diagram of a topic that can help you organize and process information. When building a concept map, we working with the flow of thought, and a diagram allows you to move off into tangents group and sort ideas. It refers to a visual organizer that can enrich students understanding of a new concept. It is similar to brainstorming and mind mapping, since it challenges students to articulate the essential concepts or ideas.       Concept mapping is brainstorming with a purpose. You start with an overarching concept that you breakdown into its smaller parts,using arrows and linking words to show how ideas connected.                       HARMONY OF LIFE      The holistic concept of wellness is basic theme of the unit.       The present innovative work is an attempt to provide an idea about the key concepts in the poem TAJ MAHAL. It was done through a working model. It helps students to easily to understand the main concepts. Through the visual setting students get a better understanding of that poem . Which contains poem, about the author, poetic device and visual and auditory images. The students are excited to know more about the model. They are attentive are cooperative. They are interested to watch it. I provide some activities through activity cards and charts. 

  Today the last day of my teaching practice session. I was happy today. Because today Marked the final day of my sleepless nights. I reflected on the journey I had undertaken over the past 30 days. It has been a transformative experience that has reaffirmed my passion for education and impact of a dedicated teacher can have on student lives. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher, and I'm excited to continue this path of lifelong learning and teaching. 

  7th week of teaching practice!! I was so happy 😀. There was a morning assembly related to anti drugs usages in adolescence. This week was so much better for me compared to other weeks. I took activity lesson plan. It was an another experience for me. I think students prefer activity based learning styles than visual or auditory learning styles. But I faced classroom management problems. This week was usual for me.
