Erratic wisdom

     The sixth week of our teaching practice from 11 December to 14 December . onwards. There was new timetable for us because of 10th class grade level division of students formed. There are only three classes for me in a week. I am disturbed because I don't know how to complete my portions. Monday, there was no class for me but I have substitution classes. Substitution classes are new experience to us. Because we can interact with different individuals. I want to complete all my portions and revision because there was Christmas examination for students.     Teacher provide many questions paper to me to workout them.  This week we started our peer evaluation. It was such a good experience for us by evaluating our peers classes. Then an eye donation camp was conducted in the school as a part of lions club  inauguration.          In this week I taught them the new topics 'Relative Clauses'. Pupil were very active and they were eager to learn about relative clauses. I used various classroom activities.                     This week I continued grammar.I also taught them about Active voice , Passiv voice , Simple Present Tense & Passive Voice in Simple Present Tense. I used chart,activity card and a few slide presentations for making the class effective.Pupils were actively responding to the scaffolding questions.Their response gave me a sense of satisfaction. The students showed positive attitude towards learning the grammar. We completed some textual activities.           My concern teacher advice me to provide some discourse for them to better exam results. Then she provides materials for me.      In this week there was 2nd observation for me. Shiny ma'am and Nadeem sir observed my classes. I was very tensed. The criticism class helps me to correct my faults effectively. In this week there is a conscientization programme conduct by us to the SPC students. The topic was POLLUTION. The class was very effective. It helps students to know more about the pollutions and their side effects. Headmistress appreciate us for our efforts. Students are attentive and they do all the activities given by us. There was an election duty for us. Teacher asked us to enroll the name of the candidates in a paper. There was a special assembly for prize distribution for the excellent students. Overall,the day was good.

       As part of our B.Ed curriculum I conducted a conscientization program on topic "Pollution" at Govt Model HSS Venganoor. We discuss about types of pollutions and it's consequences. The class was handled by Saranya S Nair, Abhila, Sudheesh and Abhidev. It was an interactive session. We arranged the classroom and made necessary seating arrangement.       Firstly,the presentation is started by an introductory part about pollution. Then we discuss about water pollution, air pollution, soil pollution and noise pollution. Students are attentive and they listen the class so much curiously.
